I have spent more than 37 years practicing environmental law representing and resolving disputes with corporations, municipalities, government agencies, special interest and industry groups, and private citizens.
Stakeholders come to the table with sincerely held positions. A dispute generally does not reflect personal environmental views but whether a solution is fair, reasonable, cost-effective, and achieves goals.
Sometimes public agencies do not understand unique corporate, municipal, and special interest group settlement parameters. Conversely, it can be difficult for private parties to reconcile non-case specific federal and state agency restrictions and policies. Disputes among solely private parties pose other challenges.
My wide-ranging experience and expertise provide a holistic understanding of the environmental laws, a unique perspective of parties’ concerns, practical and creative solutions, and is proven to successfully resolve conflicts.
